I see that an old version of Encyclopedia Britannica is available on Community Pricing for $100.
Since it's pretty outdated, it may be an unwise move from Logos part to put it into production, and even $100 on CP is a little steep for it.
Instead, what might be better is Logos could work with Encyclopedia Britannica Online and build an addin to Logos that would search and display content from EBO right from within Logos (and it could be added to automated reports, etc.).
It could offer both free articles for the public, and end users could subscribe to the full EBO if they want to unlock all the content, pretty much similar to how Logos offers searching of MediaShout content within Logos and Proclaim, etc.
Possibly put the addin on prepub and sell it at a reasonable cost to cover development of it.
That way we can still search EBO content "within" Logos, always have the latest content available, and Logos only has to maintain the search addin without having to maintain/update all the content manually.
Logos could even extend it to other encyclopedias such as World Book, etc.
