These anomalies did OT appear until the Logos 5 release of July 4, 2013. Up to that point, I had none of the issues listed below. Not only are these bugs but also I have encountered umpteen crashes and submitted umpteen crash reports. I have heard nothing nor seen anything addressing these issues. The release that came out today, does not address the issues. Do here goes ...
(1) When you import text from another application, the font size does NOT take on the default font size of the NOTE file. (Mine is set to Calibri 10pt but imported text is Calibri 12pt.)
(2) When importing text from another application, the last PERIOD is always missing. When you go to type in the period, it always takes on the last color attribute used (usually from the last NOTE file). So, to work-around this, I have to either select the period I typed in and set the proper colour attribute ... or copy a period from somewhere else in the NOTE file and paste it at the end of the text. Both these work-arounds are tedious and time consuming.
(3) If you apply a font attribute (Bold) and a colour attribute (Red) to some text and then go and try to apply it to another piece of text, the text will take on the Bold attribute but not the colour attribute. The work-around is to select the text, select the erase attribute, then apply the Bold/Colour attribute to the text. Another work-around is after using a Font & Colour attribute, select normal other text and apply an attribute to it ... then go to the second piece of text you tried to colour and now apply the desired Bold/Colour attributes. Again, frustration, tedious and time consuming.
(4) If you apply a colour attribute to a piece of text then go anywhere else in your NOTE file to add or insert more text, whatever you type is always in the color you last used ... not the colour of the text of the document (black). So, type the text, select the text and then apply the proper (black) colour attribute.
(5) Sometimes when you go to select text, the cursor moves but it does not hightlight the text. If you release the mouse button, the program will CRASH. If, while still holding the mouse button down and you hit the ESC key, you will not crash and the text will become highlighted. So ... when I'm selecting text ... one finger on the mouse button and another finger hovering over the escape key!
Am I the only one in the "Logos universe" who is experiencing these issues in a MAC environment? How many crash reports do I need to send Logos before they deal with these issues?
