How do I use Logos 5 to find all instances in the Bible where it refers to God laughing?
These are the results that I get using clause search. logos4:Search;kind=Clause;q=subject:god_verb:to_laugh$3B_to_amuse$3B_to_be_merry$3B_to_joke$3B_to_provide_amusement$3B_to_play,_dance$3B_to_struggle,_fight_;match=stem
Used Bible search and typed laugh and among the results I found Psalms 2:4, 37:13, 59:8, Prov. 1:26
Hope this helps.
There are more sophisticated ways of doing this but because the word laugh is not that common a simple search in your favorite Bible for laugh will give you all the occurrences. For instance in the ESV the word laugh is mentioned 34 times in 32 verses but it only refers to God 3 times.
Psalm 2:4, Psalm 37:13, Psalm 59:8
Bruce, the clause search misses Psalm 2:4.
Looks like a tagging issue.
He who sits in the heavens laughs
The "He" is tagged as "God", but "laughs" isn't tagged with any person
I thank all of you for your help

Good catch. That's why sometimes I find it better to simply do an old fashioned search and make those interpretive decisions for myself.
