Crash

Hi, I have followed the instructions on your page. My Logos started crashing at startup about a week ago. It looks like it signs me in, then synchronises and then will crash about 30 seconds later. I have attached the log file as per instruction. Thanks for whatever help you can give.

Peter, welcome to the forums. First, your logs indicate that you are not using the latest version of Logos. You can download that from this link Mac

Try installing that and see if it fixes the crash. If not, let us know, and we will look deeper.

Hi Jack,

Thanks for your quick reply. A few days ago I re-downloaded logosmac.dmg after reading the instructions on the support page. The logos that has been logged is from that download. Hmmm. I will follow your instructions though and see if it helps.

Hi Jack

I did as you requested. I checked the version of the one you got me to download and it was the same as the one I had logged before. Version 5.1.0.950. Anyway the same thing happened, it crashed after trying to synchronise. I have logged it again and attached the file if that helps.

It appears you have a corrupt Library Index. Delete the folder /Users/peterwaters/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/8l8ofghq.a4r/LibraryIndex/ and restart Logos. The indexing will take a considerable time.
