Vocabulary/word list

So I have a bit of an interesting situation, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm taking a Hebrew class (also a Greek class shortly) that has its own material. Each lesson has a list of words for vocab. What I would like to do is create a word list with those words so I can print off flash cards if need be. I wouldn't mind entering the words one by one, but near as I can tell the only way to do this is to locate the word either in the Bible or in another resource and copy/paste it into the word list. This is a bit of a hassle, to say the least, since the words aren't conveniently in a particular passage of the Bible.

Is there a way to enter words manually? I suppose a workaround is adding a bunch of elements from a random passage and editing each field, but that seems clunky.

In a similar thread, is there any way to get all of the lemmas from the Hebrew Bible that occur more than, say, 100 times? I'll look into advanced searches but I'm not sure the functionality for this specific search is in Logos. Usually the number of occurrences comes after you've search for a word, but I haven't seen how to search for words by occurrence yet. Basically I'd like to build my vocabulary after the course is over by creating flash cards for all the words occurring the most often in the Bible.

If I understand your question, you can create World List in Logos 4/5 from the clipboard. If you have the same software as me, I would use the Hebrew keyboard

to type the Words into Microsoft Word, highlight them, copy to Clipboard. do a Documents/Word List in Logos, then click Add and select "from clipboard". That should bring them in!

If you don't mind adding the gloss manually, just type in the words you want on the front of the card into whatever is convenient (Microsoft Word, Logos notes) and copy them to the clipboard. Then add them into a Word List from the clipboard. You can then edit the "Gloss" column for each line.

But you may decide it's less hassle using the traditional method — remember you can press CTRL+F to find the next word that you need.

Don, thanks for the quick response! I think I left out a bunch of important info [:$]

I will note that the class was kind enough to provide a "lexicon" for just the vocab of the class, however when I copy the words and add from clipboard, the words are often the wrong ones, eg. the Hebrew for "brother" gets imported as "sigh." I could edit the fields manually, but this again seems a bit clunky. I'd be better off generating a bunch of fields and manually entering them in the first place.

Upon reflection, I'm not sure I want the lemma since they don't seem to be using them consistently. I guess a further question would be can I get a non-lemma form on a flashcard through word list?

I wonder if anyone has suggested they include a function to add words to a list instead of having to "import" words. Seems like an important feature for anyone who would want to make a list of words that isn't necessarily based on a particular passage.
