Logos 4 crashes after starting

After restarting Win7 last Saturday Logos 4 has not been able to successfully start. Logos gets as far as a blank opening page, and then crashes. From other posts I thought it might be a bad Index file and so I deleted it, but that didn't work. Can anybody help me?

I don't think I've seen this problem before, unfortunately. However, I note that you're running Windows 7, which means that you can update to the Logos 5 engine for free: http://www.logos.com/installation

The reverse interlinear ribbon (which appears to be part of the problem according to the log) was completely rewritten to be faster and have a few extra features in Logos 5.1; it seems likely to me that installing Logos 5.1 will fix this problem.

Thanks very much for your quick reply. I'll try the upgrade to Logos 5; I'd missed this free option, so I'm glad to hear about it. And then, I'll hope for the best.

Man, you're GOLDEN! Logos started successfully after update, and it looks like all my old stuff (eg, layouts) is still there. Thank you for your creative help. Quintessential!
