BUG: Logos4 crashes in HELP after recent update

Downloaded 3.1 MB which turned out to be logos4Help.logos4 and excerpts.lbsexc.

After Indexing I went to Help, entered Search and L4 crashed.

Restarted L4 and completed a couple of searches OK.

Went to Help and crashed as above.

Also crashed on Notes, so its not fussy which topic I choose!

I can search for search or notes in the help panel without problems.

4.0a B5, yes I did do the download today. No indexing going on now. (I don't see a way within L4, to verify which version of the help file I have.)

I'm getting the same problem in SR-7 on my Desktop Win7 RC computer.

I wonder if I should try the update in 4.0a B5 on my laptop ....

I have confirmed that running the command "update resources" fixes the Help crashing problem in SR-7. See this thread for further info.

Rosie, this worked for you, after you manually deleted the faulty help file. So the fix is: delete help file. Restart Logos (2X?). Then update resources.

Yup, then restart Logos again (2X?). I think we've covered all our bases.
