LXX to NT

Since I don't read Greek or have an LXX with Strong's numbers, does anyone know how to find a word that's used in the LXX and also in the NT? I have an english version of the LXX and would love to find out what the Greek translation would be, and then, where I can find it in the NT. Any suggestions or layouts ideas?

There is a resource called the Lexham Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint, however it is not yet complete. This would help you do what you are talking about.

The other way is to pull out a Greek LXX and an English translation of the LXX and link them. But since you don't read Greek, that would be pretty tough.

There isn't a LXX Reverse Interlinear, but if you get the Lexham Greek-English Interlinear Septuagint (as Richard said above), then you can right click on the word and run a Bible Word Study report on the Lemma, and it will search the NT for that lemma, plus it will also show the verses it's used in other Greek texts, including the LXX.

You can go the other way with one of the NT Reverse Interlinears: right-click on the word, select Lemma, select Bible Word Study, and one of the sections in the BWS will be the LXX results for that lemma. But that is assuming you have a Greek LXX.

You can do that with the Logos LXX with morphology, which is complete. Each Greek word is tied to a Hebrew word through a reverse interlinear. Because English translations are also tied to the Hebrew, you can use sympathetic highlighting to work out which is which, then do a Bible Wordy Study on the resulting word.
