Layout of Bible reading schedule

Hello - one of the my common usages of Logos is for my quiet time, however I also use a logos reading list to divide the Bible passage up. Is there any way to control the layout it gives you rather than having to reposition everything each time? I find the default layout of half page Bible text, half page reminding you this is the passage you're meant to be reading, not useful.

I can use both layout and reading lists separately, but would like to use them together... thoughts anyone?

I'm not sure I follow what you are asking about. Can you post a screen shot?

i believe that you only get the layout you describe (half screen showing the resource and half-screen showing the reading plan) if you start from a blank screen. If you start when you already have resources open then the new resource just opens in a panel along with the others.

so it doesn't give you all you are looking for but it might help.

PS: exactly what happens in a blank layout varies depending on whether you are reading a Bible or some other resource but I forget the exact details.

Sorry Alabama - I hadn't explained it terribly clearly. Graham's understood though - it would be nice to click on my daily reading passage and open to a layout that I specify rather than the default layout.

Agreed - it has been suggested on a number of occasions but I don't recall seeing anything from Logos to say they are going to change this

The short answer, at this time, is 'no'.

I do the same thing you do, and I've overcome the problem by training myself to open my daily reading from the Layouts menu rather than the Reading Plan sidebar on the home page.

This is (most of) the layout I use for my Reading Plan this year. As you can see I have dragged a Layout Shortcut to the tool bar. The only drawback to this arrangement is remembering to update the layout at the end of each reading session.

I'll bet somebody cleverer than me even knows a keyboard shortcut to make this quicker?
