Is the checkbox checked for your iPod under Download to: in the Library info panel for that resource on your desktop?
If not, try turning on that checkbox and then let Logos sync. Does it now download to the iPod?

the process Rosie described was to cause the resource to download (and this desktop functionality is relatively new)
but even before that, it should have been visible in your library on the iPod assuming the resource is mobile enabled.
Does it appear there?
