Bug(Mac):About 30 Seconds Spinning wheel for 1st Right Mouse Click on any Resources in Library

Hi,

Appreciate is someone else on Mac can help validate this ... thanks

I get about a 30 Seconds Spinning wheel for 1st Right Mouse Click on any Resources in Library. I do not have this problem with Logos 5.1 (Windows).

These are the steps that I have tried a few times on my Logos 5.1 (Mac),

A long wait with spinning wheel for about 30 seconds before Context Menu appear

Overall I seem to see more spinning wheels in Logos 5.1 for Mac such as opening a Resource for the first time in a session. I have also tried a 4 hour exercise to Rebuild Index which does not help.

This is due to an issue previously reported with the "Tile" view (see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/72493.aspx). It has been fixed in 5.1a Beta 1 and should also be fixed in the next SR for 5.1.

Thanks for your reply. I have read the thread you mentioned. The "Tile" view is definitely a problem, however, the issue that I am reporting happens on in the "Detail" view.

The "Tile" view is definitely a problem, however, the issue that I am reporting happens on in the "Detail" view.

When you make a selection in the "Detail" view, which occurs when you right click, it will sync that selection with the "Tile" view so if you switch to the other view, the selection should be the same in that view. The initial selection in "Detail" view forces the "Tile" view to be updated so the selection can be kept in sync.
