Logos 5 newest update - froze then now cant start

My logos downloaded 50mb of updates a few minutes ago.

Then it restarted and said in a box in the middle of the screen, (sometime like) " this may take a few minutes" after about an hour I clicked the x to get out.

Now when I try to start logos 5, I get a pretty blue Logos 5 symbol and in about 2 seconds it disappears... with nothing.

I am using Win 7, dell i5 w I think quad processing, 8g, using Microsoft's virus protection, but I am not wearing a shirt or shoes as it is hot where I am.

I use logos about 90% of the time during my work day when at the laptop.. this is my bread and butter.

Try loading to a blank layout. Press and hold the control key (command key mac) immediately upon startup… check the appropriate box. If that doesn't work, please enable and post logs. See my signature line for more.

Thanks! Do I have to get to the log in screen that shows login in on line or offline? In looking for my next step to do, I did notice that there is a box to tab for a blank layout on a login menu.

I cant even get to that screen.

Press and hold the control key immediately upon startup. A similar box to the screenshot below should appear. Check the "use blank layout" box, then press "sign in." If that doesn't work, please enable and post logs.
