The book "Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy" - ( http://vyrso.com/product/9630/bonhoeffer-pastor-martyr-prophet-spy ) has been on my "to-read" list for some time and I just finished it last night. I've been a long-time admirer of Bonhoeffer and would like to purchase his books in Logos. The only problem is that they only come in a collection of 15 books and cost $500 - ( https://www.logos.com/product/17915/dietrich-bonhoeffer-works ). Although I'd love to read more of his works I can't ever see myself paying that much for this collection. It seems overpriced to me. By the way, perhaps someone could explain why it costs over $33 per volume (and a number of the volumes are smaller and could be purchased for less than $15 in a paper version.
In addition I think this collection should be split up. I would love to purchase at least two of his smaller works that are absolute classics in my opinion - Life Together and the Cost of Discipleship. I have both of these in paperback but would love to see them in Logos. Amazon.com sells Life Together for $10.71 and The Cost of Discipleship for $12.65. These are not expensive works and I think Logos should split up this collection and sell the books individually to allow these classics to make it into more of our libraries.
