How to change location display for ancient texts

The display box next to the tab was showing the location as section numbers for example: Hist. eccl. 5.4

I clicked the filters options and clicked show page numbers. Now the box show the page number and I can't figure out how to get back to sections. Does anyone know where this option is selected?

If you click in the box showing the page numbers you should get a dropdown allowing you to select section numbers.

The Show Page Numbers option in the filters menu shouldn't affect the reference box display. It's just for displaying page numbers inline in the text. Not sure why it did for you.

As Graham said, the way to switch which reference type is displayed is to click in the reference box, and you will get a menu of currently available reference types:

Keep in mind that you'll only get reference types available in the current section of the resource. For example, if you are in a part of the resource that only has page numbers (like the front-matter of a book), then you won't see any other reference types in the drop-down. In fact, you won't even get a drop-down menu if only one reference type is available.

I think this is the source of my problem or I should say confusion. Apparently the book I'm in now doesn't offer that type of reference.

Here is the book I am working in now:

Moore, H. (1921). The Dialogue of Palladius Concerning the Life of Chrysostom. (W. J. S. Simpson & W. K. L. Clarke, Eds.)Translations of Christian Literature: Series I: Greek Texts. London: Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge.

I had used the show page numbers option and thought it had changed the reference display. I tried to click and right click the reference display box, but wasn't getting any response. So it appears that I was looking for an option that was not available for that resource.

Thanks for the explanation. I now understand how to toggle back and forth in those resources that offer both types of references.
