Bug: Some internal links don't appear to have transitioned to Logos 4 correctly

I'm noticing several links are bringing up "Resource Unavailable" errors, under certain circumstances. Hover is unaffected, so the link must be good, but Logos 4 isn't doing the right thing with it.

For example, most links to the Word Biblical Commentary series show up as "Resource Unavailable" when you click on them from Power Lookup.

Equally, links to TDNT from New Bible Dictionary don't work if you right-click and open in a tab, but do work if you left-click.

Have you rebuilt your index after the Beta3 indexing issue? Doing so could resolve the problems -- I think.

If you have rebuilt, could you give a step-by-step so others might confirm/deny seeing a bug in their systems? Thanks.

I didn't do any indexing in the betas, so shouldn't have had problems. But if you want to try and reproduce

    • Open the New Bible Dictionary to a page that has TDNT links and click on one of those links (i.e. click on where it says pp xx - yy). Your TDNT will open correctly.
    • Now right click on one of those links, make sure that "link" is selected in the context menu, and choose "Open link". You'll get a "resource unavailable" error.

I can reproduce in SR-7 as well as 4.0aB5 (I rebuilt the index in B4, and there is no supplemental).

In the Bibliography for topic "Humility" of NBD I see this when I right click the TDNT link "939".

I would expect a dictionary entry for TDNT as in L3!

If I click on the Link tab and then "Open Link" I get this

    image

If I hover over the reference I see a tip window. When I click it the TDNT resource opens.

NOTE: clicking on the last two references does nothing, though they are valid for TDNT. ALL these links work correctly in L3.

    In Power Lookup I see:-

When I hover on LLS:TDNT I see a tip window. If I click it I get "Resource Unavailable" as above.

    Confirmed as of Beta5.

    Confirmed here too.

    Edit: Running Beta5
