This one is strange. I have noticed for a few weeks that when I try to apply highlighting from various highlighting palletes it only works when I use styles for which I have a hot key short cut established and apply the highlighting by using the hot key rather than clicking on the highlighting directly from the list of highlighting options.
What's more, it is putting the highlighting in strange places (other resources). Example, in the attached photo I selected the word "their" in the NIV84, 2 Pe 2:3b. I tried to apply various visual mark ups to this text:
1. tried to add my own personal mark ups: a red vertical line before the text, the number "2" before the text, the expression "L4M" before the text.
2. None of these appeared in the NIV but they did appear in "The bible Knowledge commentary" as shown in the photo.
3. When I tried to remove the mark ups from the NIV by selecting the section of text and doing "Cmd - Shift - K", they were not removed from the "Bible knowledge Commentary". I have to go into the BKC, select the mark ups and do "cmd - shift- k" to remove them.
It only seems to add them to BKC not to any other open books or bibles.
Also, it is not just limited to mark ups I have created, when I used pre defined mark ups it is the same thing.
