Intel® 3rd Generation Core™ i3
Review => http://blog.laptopmag.com/hp-envy-split-x2 includes:
"In terms of specs, the entry-level configuration of the Envy Split x2 sports a third-generation Intel Core i3-3229Y processor and 4GB of RAM."
The entry-level i3-3229Y is #319 on a CPU benchmark list => http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Processors-Benchmarklist.2436.0.html that is close to minimum CPU for Logos 5 use => http://www.logos.com/support/tech-faq

I ordered this hybrid last week and am anticipating it this Friday (8/30/2013) I hope it comes then so I can have the long weekend to configure it. I increased the specs as much as I could so it has 128g SSD, 500g hdd, 8g RAM, the i5 processor and the 13 inch screen. I know I should have waited for Haswell, but I'm an impatient guy and classes begin on Wednesday.
In any case, I plan to keep the SSD available for Logos Silver, Office 2013 and the operating system. Data/file storage in the cloud and on the SD, with my remaining apps and data stored on the hdd in the base. That way I should be able to use Office and Logos in tablet mode away from the base. I have seen some of the threads trying to run logos from the SD and am not really sure if I want to go through that headache. But then again, I can't seem to find anywhere that indicates how much storage space the Silver library will take, so I'm not sure if my plan for the SSD will work.
I will respond to this thread next weekend (if HP ships on time) and let you know my results.

Thanks Chris. I didnt like the resolution when doing e-reading and couldn't afford all the upgrades you added.
I would have used my new tablet as a frisbee sailing it over my backyard fence into the woods if I had to do all those SD changes some are patient/smart enough to try in the forums.
I hope your new machine is a blessing though....seriously.
Good luck with classes too.

Thanks Joshua.
As it turns out HP has delayed delivery of the machine for another week. So I won't have an update to give for a little while. I am a little concerned about the resolution. My work laptop has a similar resolution, and while I find it acceptable, I'm not really sure how it would look with several windows of Logos open. I expect it will be kind of cramped.
I have been using the Split X2 for about 3 weeks. It runs Logos 5 well maybe not the fast to search the total library but the speed is acceptable. 128 gig is enough for Logos and M.S. Office and even other programs. I use the Split X2 for sermon prep and school work and it does both well enough for me.
