How much HD space does the Portfolio package take up?

I'm wondering how much space the Portfolio package takes up on a Hard Drive? I don't know if I have enough space for the package.

My guess would be about 15 gb.

The suggested specs are 30 gb stated here. I would be a little surprised if it really takes that much.

Concur with 15 GB guess that would include indexing of 10.4 GB of resource files => http://www.logos.com/support/tech-faq
Library index needs adequate free disk space for two versions to exist at the same time when index is being updated.

In summary: You will need 30GB to run properly.

I have a PC with Portfolio on. The resources take up 10.5GB, and the indexes are 4.5GB. With the program and documents, that's a total of 15.2GB. It you had anything less than about 23GB, you might run out of space when downloading and reindexing a major update.

That is very good information to have. Thanks.

I have Portfolio plus many additonal rsources. They take up 18.6GB on mydesktop. I just built a new computer, and I have been dowloading Logos all night, and I am currently at 93%. It;s going to be interesting to see how Logos performs on a SDS and i7 processorl

The download was at 100% at 7 AM, and I'm guessing it took another hour to index. I can report running Logos on a 4770K i7 and SDS drive is an awesome experience.

I too have an i7 with a SSD and can attest that it makes a huge difference.
Am I correctly assuming that you mean SSD (solid state drive) and not SDS? If not I'm not sure what a SDS is.

I also have an i7 with an SSD. I originally built it with a standard HD, and when I changed to an SSD it made a surprising difference.

Yes, I meant SSD (Solid State Drive). Please forgive me, I am an old man with Parkinson's Disease, and either one or the other might have something to do with my memory loss.
