Question: How do I search for exact text in my entire library. For example, I'd like to search for "one anothers" in my entire library. When I try this, I'm unfortunately also seeing every occurrence of "one another".

you are exactly right in putting the string into quotes. Just make sure that "Match all word forms" is deselected:
