Question about the New American Commentary Gen 1-11:26

I have a question about the New American Commentary Gen 1-11:26. If it does not belong under this heading, please move it accordingly. My question is who wrote the several Excursus articles found in the volumes?

Kenneth A. Mathews is the author of the commentary, and since the resource only lists one author, I would assume he is the author of all the content including the excursuses.  Any reason to think otherwise?
