Logos 4 Not downloading updates

I recently got the new book for today by Dwight Moody. I think it's called Heaven, but i can't remember the whole title off the top of my head. However, I don't have it in my library, so I tried to get it again, only to find that I can't get it again because I would have a double order in my account.

Anyway, I tried to force an update by typing in the command "Update Now". The only problem is that it won't update and I get this on my screen: please go to this link --> http://i41.tinypic.com/4vmo9k.png

At the bottom right hand corner, I noticed that Logos sees the updates, but it simply doesn't download them. It just stays there. What else could I do?

This could be fixed as follows (in your Windows Administrator account):-

Click the Windows "Start" button

Type "services" in the Search bar and then click on the "Services" program at the top

In the list of services, double-click "Background Intelligent Transfer Service"

In the "Startup Type" list, select "Manual" and click "Apply"

Check whether the "Service status" is "Started"; if it is "Stopped" click on the "Start" button.

Start a Command Prompt (type "cmd" and select "cmd.exe" as per "services" above), type bitsadmin /reset and hit the Enter key.

Start L4 with CTRL key held down. It should begin to download updates.

BTW As you are running Windows 7 you can update to Logos 5 for free at http://www.logos.com/installation.

Thank you. This resolved my problem. It was kind of strange. I had to run the indexer 3 times. The first two times didn't work, but the third one worked and I don't know why. I did notice that the first two times it tried to index, it was much faster. The third one took a longer time.
