How to search one my highlighted text...

Sorry if this has been answered. I did a search and couldn't figure it out.

So....

I created a new highlighter called "Examples to Follow" It's in green.

As I read, I high examples to follow in this green.

Is there a way to search on this highlighter to find all the passages?

You can filter your search by pallet OR highlighter. In the screen shot below, I clicked on "all text." To search only one highlighter, click the black "dropdown" triangle next to the pallet name.

Alabama omitted to tell you what text to search for! Whilst you want to find a highlight the search engine only knows to search for text in the highlight. You could enter the wildcard * and the search will take a long time. A quicker way is to to search for a list of words beginning with letters of the alphabet e.g.

a*, b*, e*, d*, j*

this is a list and you might have to enter all the letters.

Also, restricting the search to a resource or collection will be quicker.

Too bad that you can't just choose the highlight you want and see everything without needing the wildcard and the time.

If the note file had "sort by highlighting style", that would be perhaps the easiest yet.
