Default passage guide resources

When you're on the homepage for the software, the default resources when the passage guide opens up my workspace is the KVJ, ESV, Elzevir, and a German Bible (for some odd reason).

I would like for it to open up the Nestle text. Is there a way to change the defaults for this?

The Bible resources that appear should be based on your top 5 prioritized bibles. Here is a link to the wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing

Thanks! That cleared up almost everything.

I don't know if you mess much with original languages, but the BHS SESB 2.0 is giving it a hard time. There's no way on the planet where I can set the range.

Setting the range: The best way to set the range is to not set the range. It comes up and shows up just like it should.

Now, if I could only get the NIV to go away when I'm working in the OT, I'd be ok. It's not even in the priorities list.

How many Bible resources do you have prioritized WITHOUT any advanced prioritization?

A whole bunch. In fact, I knew advanced was there, but I never used it until you mentioned it. I now have five in advance prioritization and the rest, literally more than two dozen, in standard prioritization.

Out of curiosity... Is there a reason you aren't using the free L5 engine?

Free? The last time I bought anything was right after they released L5. My purchase had nothing to do with L5, I was just ready for NICOT/NT and Baker NT. The sales rep, who I've worked with since 1994, did try very hard to get me to upgrade, but it really didn't give me more than an engine.

Regardless, at the time the engine was not free. You could not just download the engine by itself. I was not aware that you could run L5 without buying that upgrade.

So you can just download and run L5? Is that what you're saying?

The software is always free... The resources you must pay for. Some of the new features require new resources (I.e. data sets), so to use those features, you would need to purchase a minimal cross grade or base package. You do not need to do so, however, and the other features will work just fine. When L5 was FIRST released, Logos limited its access to those who updated their base package, but always intended it to be available to all users. I believe it became available in January. As long as you are running 10.6 or better, you are encouraged to update. Here is the link:
