Hello all!
I just wanted to know how Mac users are finding Logos 5 - whether it's relatively fast and stable with normal usage? Particularly any Mac Air users out there.
Thanks!
~Butters
I have a 2011 Air, 4/128, 10.8.4, love it. I run the betas of L5, no problems to report. My usage is probably lighter than others, as I tend not to use reports, run complex searches, etc., but due to the SSD it runs fast than my 2010 iMac with a faster quad processor and more RAM. Your mileage may vary, of course.
I have the new macbook air that came out this year. 8GB RAM, 512GB. It is extremely fast.
I have a MBA (late 2011) running Mountain Lion. I find Logos 5 runs quickly enough for me.
How do I measure speed? The absence of spinning pizza is good enough for me.
Every blessing
Alan
Hi Butters,
I run L5 on an MBA (2011) as my primary machine. I find L5 to be stable and responsive and the experience actually exceeds the performance of my desktop PC.
I thought you might be interested to find that there has been some previous discussion of L5 on the MBA,

That all sounds great. Thanks everyone!

+1 with the i7 processor too. It's my only computer and I'm really pleased with it. Battery life is awesome too!
