What iphone memory requirements are needed to use the application?  Do you need internet connection to use the app on your iphone?

You need an active internet connection to use the app. Books are not stored on the phone, content is downloaded as needed, so it uses very little space.

So a 3 gig Iphone will work, and you don't need the iphone to have internet capabilities just syncing with desktop?

You need to actively be connected to the internet  either through wifi (only way on iPod touch) or through AT&T's network (service plan required). As I cannot move away from TMobile, I opted for the iPod touch and use it over wireless internet.

We've received indication that offline use is the works, so with the iPod touch, we may not be tethered to a hotspot.

Syncing with desktop does nothing in regards to the Logos app.
