on my iPad, when I use the non-downloaded net bible it reads just fine.  When I download the net bible, I get only 1 or 2 versus of scripture and the remainder of the page notes the net notes.  Why the difference?

Hi Darrel- and welcome to the forums

I have just tried this and can't reproduce what you are describing. The Net Bible reads the same whether remote or downloaded

    Why the difference?

    There are there "NET" resources:

    1. The NET Bible
    2. The NET Bible First Edition (Noteless)
    3. The NET Bible First Edition Notes

Is it possible that you are reading the first one online and downloading the third one?

In the icons at the top of the page, tap on Aa. One of the options is Show Footnotes. If you wish, switch it to off.

This option only works for downloaded resources: hence why you only see the notes after downloading. Generally it is a very useful option for reading footnotes quickly, but it may be a bit overwhelming with the long notes in the NET Bible.

    Right on all accounts. [:)]
