Those of you who are developing the new Snow Leopard Alpha for Logos Bibie 4 need to be aware that Snow Leopard now has a screen reader system called VoiceOver which enables blind/vision impaired people to use their Macs straight out of the box. I would like to suggest the importance of having some basic functions of the Logos 4 software available in VoiceOver. I would suggest that the following functions be made available for interaction with VoiceOver:
1. Looking up a bible verse/passage.
2. The capacity to open and read books in Libronix.
I know that Logos does hundreds of other functions but these two things are obviously vital to enable to use the software on their Macs. This is also important as I have looked at and tested various other bible suite programs and none of these offer any sort of vision impaired access whatsoever.
