Request: a way to see a larger version of each cover image

I was trying to figure out what was different about my edition of BAGD from the currently shipping BDAG, and I couldn't read the text on the cover image. It would be really nice if we could click to zoom in and see a larger readable version of each image, like you can on Amazon.com.

I agree, I frequently used this in L3 when in the "about this resource" screen. There you could click on an image to expand it. Quite helpful.

me three. glad we can see the covers in the library and on the -whatever you call them--pane bars? now . . . but there have been several times I wished I could see a larger image. And I HAVE wanted to have a kind of "cover flow" a la iTunes. Really, my resources stick in my brain better when i connect them to a visual. LOL, even lobby for them in passage guide--why not??!

Oh, neat! All the more reason to request it in L4. I didn't realize you could do this in L3. See, I really never got to know L3 very well but L4 is so much more inviting to explore!

Yes, that would be nice. For now you can do screen capture with Jing or many other tools.

I am with you guys on this one. I am very much visual and I also looked very often in L3 on the bigger picture of the book. To get to that info in L3 was not so easy though. I like the L4 approach.

I am visual too and welcome the introduction of thumbnails in L4. Expanding this to include larger mouseovers would be brilliant. The more I use the Mac version, the more I hope that eventually there is a cover flow or virtual bookshelf mode similar to iTunes or Delicious Library, so that you can organise, tag and select resources as you work your way through the library. As much as I like the new Library window, it could be taken to a another level graphically really easy.

I agree with you all! But there are two workarounds to get larger thumbnails in Logos 4.

First, use my bibliographic report generator (see my footer), which allows you to display thumbnails in their native Logos size (often about 200px). This method also allows you to save your covers or copy them to the clipboard (something else you could do in L3) if you need to import them into other software.

The second is to change the program scaling in Logos 4. It's on Tools/Program Settings, but you can add a shortcut to the bar by typing "set program scaling to xx%" in the command bar and dragging the resulting command to the shortcut bar. I've got two shortcuts on mine, to toggle between different scalings. The percentage you choose has to be one of the ones allowable in program settings.
