Am I missing something?

I don't want to complain (any more than I have already), I am just a bit bewildered. Can someone help me understand the need/desire/implications/use/etc. of the audio aspects of this app on mobile, aside from the obvious: you can listen to books/Bible on your mobile device. I guess I just don't see this is such a big feature compared to others listed on the suggestions page. Again, I'm just wanting to better understand this aspect of the app and its development.

You're right that this is what it provides.

And I have seen requests from people across the forums for this to be made available on mobile devices.

And this demonstrates - again - that each of us have different priorities as to what functionality we want to see made available most urgently.

I currently put my iPad on the dash above the steering wheel with the speaker pointed at me when my drive is over 30 minutes. This is to listen to podcasts. I would really like to be able to listen to content from my Logos library.

This is pretty much what I do as well, although I use a mobile phone and the hands free adapter that came with it. Where I live the law also requires the device to be secured to the dash or windshield by a device made for that very purpose.

With the app from a certain Seattle-based company, which shall remain nameless*, I listen to short and long audiobooks containing secular fiction, christian litterature, the bible, lectures, classroom recordings and even theology. This kind of usage is probably not even on the horizon for Logos, even though the feature in question may be a step in the right direction.

Very recently I bought the book linked to below as an audobook in the app refered to above*. Then I went and bought it as a Logos resource as well. I listened to it in the car first. When I came home I looked over the text in Logos, where I could insert highlights and notes. That is one of the benefits of an audio feature.
