Is there a way to limit the search range within a resource to a section, chapter, or group of pages?
Thanks in advance,
Scott
Only with Bibles in a Morph Search or Bible Search. A Basic Search does not allow a limited range.
Thanks Dave.
I sometimes wished that the basic search had a bit more bells and whistles. At least to limit a search to chapters, etc.

Don't forget the "Find" function. When you're in a resource use CTRL-F.
It doesn't give you a list of places to look but it does move you through a resource one find at a time. And you can only search the surface text, with no opperators, but with a little patience and creativity you can often find what you're looking for.
Hi Rich,
Yeah, I did momentarily forget about Cntl-F, and that does help.
From time to time, I've wondered if I overlooked range limit in search so I decided to post the question.
Thanks,
I use Ctrl-F, which is very, very useful when you need to look something up quick and simply. But maybe a compromise between this and a full blown search would be to allow operators in the Ctrl F dialogue, making it possible to make it a bit more specific within a single resource.

And if you only want to search within a particular chapter, navigate to that chapter first via the contents pane, or whatever you call that thing that opens up on the left when you click the double chevron thingy. (I'm finding I wish I had a visual glossary of parts of the Logos screen; I think I'm going to make one for the wiki and invite people to pitch in.)

I asked for this in the first week of Beta testing....
