Please add support for defaults

Hi,

We are loving Proclaim so far, so please keep up the great work!

I'd love to have support for defaults throughout Proclaim. Specifically a default font for new song, content, bible items.

Right now, I am forced to edit each song and set the font size, each week.

Default backgrounds, etc would also be welcomed.

About what you're suggesting, Proclaim should remember the background and font of the last similar item you created in each theme.

We're just setting up Proclaim for the first time this month. I understand what you're saying about how Proclaim remembers backgrounds, fonts, etc, for similar items, but it seems like that will only work when you add a new song? Our concern is that if we ever want to change the background, font, etc, we're using for all our songs, that we'll have to go in and change each song individually since there doesn't seem to be a way to create a song template that can be applied to all songs after an initial import (or addition). Is that correct or are we missing some functionality?

I read the articles from the links above, but they don't seem to address how to handle future formatting changes (across all songs in your database) after songs are added. Any additional info you can provide about this would be helpful!

First of all, welcome to Proclaim. I think you're gonna love it.

To answer your question: On media you find in proclaim design elements like font, text color & size all follow the background. So, if you change the background, the typeface will change to match. If you switch to a background that you uploaded yourself, the font will revert to a default, but you can always use the "Customize..." tab to change those things.

When you create a new service element (song for instance) your most recently used background will be first available in the Backgrounds bin. Selecting it should only take a 2 clicks.
