Weird highlight problem
The footnote markers in the Septuagint: SESB Edition are little crosses. Mine have some sort of hang up where almost all the crosses are highlighted purple. This problem started years ago when I highlighted one cross. I don't think this highlight file exists anymore, but the problem persists. How do I get rid of these highlights?

Typically, things like this are caused by either a search or a visual filter applied. If you search for "hope," all instances of "hope" will be highlighted. If this issue is truly a highlighting issue, then you should be able to turn off highlighting files one at a time to discover the problem file. Click on the three intersecting circles icon and uncheck the highlighting document one at a time.

OK, I think it is the "Link to Open Panels" option. When I run a search with "Link to Open Panels" checked, the highlights appear. But they shouldn't because the search has nothing to do with all these footnote markers.

I'm wrong. It has nothing to do with searching. IT IS the link to open panels. When that is checked I get the highlights. When it is not I don't.
Still, the highlights shouldn't be there should they?

And there are no note documents checked under the visual filter menu?
Have you tried closing panel by panel to see what happens to the crosses?

Only "Link to Open Panels" is selected--this one is the issue. The resource that it is linking to is the commentary on 2 Macc.

...and you closed ALL other panels and the trouble persists?

The problem only happens when that visual filter is checked and there is are resource open that has a "biblical" reference system (e.g. the commentary).

What are the links actually to? What pops up when you hover over them?

Did you try closing the one commentary and opening something else (i.e. another bible translation)?
