Epitomators and why Logos needs a (good) english dictionary

Are YOU an epitomator??
No, not 'Mator in Cars.
A very interesting word which my Logos english dictionaries know nothing of. My latin/greek guy knew but ... they're in latin/greek.
For some odd reason, epitomators show up in commentaries (and yes, the Faithlife Bible Dictionary) whenever Macabbees II is discussed. Probably an ancient used epitomator after Macabbees II was written, and thense all later commentators.
