I don't have a pre-order for it myself, but I was thinking of keeping the pre-pub order in an extra Logos account that I've created for a friend. Are many of these volumes dated? Guides to Biblical Scholarship Series (12 vols.)
They seem like a cheap option, but perhaps they are superceded? I know that the strength of this series is that it's broad.
Probably going to cancel the order anyway as I'm really unsure whether the friend will have time to do any such in-depth studies.
