Suggestion for Collections

I saw that someone suggested "add Collection to Library view" but haven't read that thread. I have a different approach to what I suspect is the same goal.

When I open COLLECTIONS I put it in a floating window. The NEW TAB plus sign to the right opens similar resources. If MY LIBRARY were added to that list, (by default) we could open it and drag it alongside of the COLLECTIONS window for easy dragging. It would make creating a new collection so much simpler.

Better yet, when you want to create (or EDIT) a NEW collection a window would open with these two side by side.

While your idea has merit, your work-around works already. I don't use floating windows but have a pane for Library and one for collections.

Remember that collections in Logos 4 are primarily to be created by developing selection rules for your resources rather than by dragging and dropping, which is the 3.0 analog. For some collections this works superbly. For others dragging and dropping is the way. However right clicking on a resource and having the option to add it to a collection, or having the collection panel as part of the Library pane would be even easier than what we can now do. Your suggestion would be another option.
