I'm thinking given the number of "big name" alumni that DTS has, as long as Logos keeps courting them and the staff at DTS, this will probably be a long partnership.

I would not be surprised to see future courses in Logos Mobile Education by some of the professors at DTS.

That all depends upon accredidation. DTS has worked hard to earn its accredidation from ATS and the regional Commission on Higher Learning. If they start granting transfer credit for stuff like m.Ed it could jeopardize the standing with those agencies.

I wonder, what with Logos not seeking accreditation, if somehow the lessons could be "chartered" under the auspices of an accredited university?
As in: If Logos m.Ed, while not accredited, meets all the regulations of the ATS, and the CHL. So in and of themselves they stand unaccredited, but when accepted in transfer to a university become then accredited.
In this way they do not compete directly with their partners, but instead encourage student entrance into a partner institution.
That would be some darn good marketing.

According to the FAQ, if you already own Logos you will still get access to the "free" resources you don't already have in your existing Logos account.

I remember DTS developed the old CDWORD program. I bought that because it had BAGD and some great resources. Logos bought out that program land owners were given a great duo grad deal to Logos. This was in the early days of Logos.
So there was some cooperation or relationship between Logos and DTS way back when.
Then the great majority of writers for Logos' EEC commentary either taught or studied at Logos.
So this partnership is a natural fit. And a good thing for all - customers and Logod.
Hopefully there will be more partnerships. It is to the advantage of everyone to broaden the customer base.
