When I click on the star to set a rating nothing happens. I apologize if this has already been dealt with somewhere. There are a lot of posts!
Where are you trying to set the rating? You cannot do this in the information window at this time, you have to do it from the Library tab.
That was the only place I tried it...The Library Tab
Note that the ratings stars are for your benefit in searching you can then search your library for all resources with four or more stars:
rating:>4
What version are you running? Are you all up-to-date?
I'd love to! If only it would work [:P] Even the books I prioritized remain unrated.
Just purchased it yesterday. All installed/ all indexed. seems to be working wonderfully. Search speed is off the chart.
Newly installed / all indexed / works great (mostly) speed is off the charts.

You can't set the stars in the details (grid) view, but you can do it in the multi-line view, plus you can always do it in the info pane on the right.

You can't rate in the library using the grid view. You have to use the 'large' view, or use the information panel on the right.
Thank you Todd. There just was not that detailed info in help. It works fine.
I contend that this is a Bug. If it's by design, it shouldn't be.

This is by design, but is being considered for the future. You do not have to change to summary view, though, to rate or tag a resource. In the grid view, select a resource and click on the resource info icon. Add a rating or tag in the info pane.
