Hebrew copy and past

Question??? every time I try to copy a hebrew word into a word document for a paper and try to reference it, because using the hebrew actual word makes me feel much more scholarly it only pasts the lexical form of the word?? It's very difficult and not accurate to use the font that is supplied in word for Hebrew because it is without the vowels. I have tried from the actual hebrew bible and the interlinear. Any suggestions from you Logos Experts, I'm sure I will be able to give great insight to my fellow classmates if there is a simple solution!!! Thank you and have a blessed day

Hi Anthony,

What Hebrew font do you have in Word? You should try SBL Hebrew, which is available from here. Copying and pasting Hebrew text from Logos works for me, and that's the font I'm using in both Logos and Word.

Don't know which OS Anthony may be using, so I'll add a note here. MS Word for Mac 2011 refuses to recognize SBL Hebrew—it will not appear in the list of fonts. I use Ezra SIL. Do not remember just where I got it, but do remember that it is free. Google will probably find it if needed.

Hi and thank you for the replies. I am using windows. The problem I'm having which is so very interesting is not at all with the fonts in fact when I copy and past the font is perfect. In fact I can even type a Hebrew font in wordmy word program reads the fonts eloquently and it may even be the fonts you all have suggested.

The very interesting feature I'm dealing with is that when I copy from logos a Hebrew word from the Hebrew bibles and past it to word- the word pastes and appears in its lexical root form??? Even when I did not copy the word in the lexical form. It is like magic I don't understand. Unfortunately I do not want the lexical form of the word I am writing for context and for the passages main intent so I would love if the word was copied or pasted in the actual form of the word I copied it from. You should try it and then tell me if you have success doing this in the same way then I will really be curious

When you right click on a word, a pop up menu appears. There are a number of "tabs" running down the right hand side of the menu. Which tab do you have selected?

This illustrates what Alabama24 stated - depending upon what tab I select in the right-click menu, I get different results when I cut and paste into Word 2013.
