Hello! I purchased Logos 4 about 3 years ago on a PC. A few months ago, seeking to use the already-purchased software on my Mac, I installed it, but it was some kind of Logos 5 thing. Unfortunately, the books I have purchased in the past do not show up in my library,. What can I do? Is there a place I can download them from? Ps. I am signed in on my Mac.

I can't be sure but go into your pretences and make sure "use the internet" is marked to yes. Then restart, and in the command box type "update now" it should find your books to download and the latest version of Logos 4..

PS: If YES was already selected, I have no idea.

For clarification... You didnt buy "Logos 4" as the software is always free. I assume that you mean you purchased a base package. The current software is "Logos 5" and you should be using it unless your computer is unable to run it.

The simplest answer is that you aren't signed in with the same credentials (username & password). Have you double checked that? Have you also checked biblia.com to see if the resources show up there with your username & password?

FWIW - Once you install the software and enter your credentials, ALL of your resources should automatically download and index. If you have a large library, that might take a while. Can you see a blue Logos icon up at the top right of your screen?

Thank you all for the help, but still no dice. Biblia.com shows my books, and the Logos software shows my correct email address on the home page. I truly can't find a "sign out" button to try to sign in with my email and password again just in case.

I don't really know what you mean by a blue Logos icon up at the "top right of my screen."

    Here is a screen shot:

Notice the blue logos icon. This tells you that 1) new resources or software is downloading OR 2) your resources are indexing.

Here is what I would do:

    1. Download the newest engine HERE. As long as you are running 10.6 or newer, you should be running the L5 engine.
    2. If that doesn't fix the issue, try using the commands "update now" or "update resources"
    3. If neither of these work, we may need logs, or you might need to phone Logos directly. You can learn about logging by following the link in my signature line.

Logos is meant for "one user." Consequently, there is no "sign out" feature. You would need to uninstall the software first to "switch users." Since the email address is right, I am leaning against that being the issue.
