This is on Windows. Perhaps someone could confirm for Mac too.
1. Create a Personal Book and leave the author field blank.
2. Build the book.
3. Open the Library in a floating window, in grid view, with the Info panel open.
4. Filter the Library in such a way that the PB you just created shows up in the first page worth of resources listed.
5. Switch back to the PB Tool.
6. Edit the PB you just created and add an author.
7. Rebuild the book.
8. Switch back to the Library window.
Result: The Library has not refreshed to show the new author, either in the Author column or in the info panel. Doing something that forces the Library to refresh (e.g., changing the filter) fixes it.
Expect: Editing anything in the metadata of a PB (such as the author) and rebuilding it should force a refresh of the Library.
