When will Logos create a way for Personal Books to sync...

so that they can be viewed on a 2nd computer without going through the hassle of thumb drive carry-overs and such? I hate going to all the trouble to create books that can't be viewed on my Office computer after creating them at home.
Anyone know of a time-frame to make this work (assuming the cloud must be involved).

A Logos employee responded to a question about syncing a little while back… but time frames are something Logos rarely releases. I am hoping it comes before the end of the year. [:S]
EDIT: Thanks for the link Wild Eagle. [:)]

Probably not outside of a few offices in Bellingham.
I see a couple problems with this implementation. First, even though the cost per megabyte of server space is relatively low, when you are talking about millions of megabytes, you are talking real money. If this service is implemented, I would expect to be charged for it. If you've been around either the internet or Christian bible software users for very long, you know that won't go over well. Very few people will say they believe in slavery any more, but when the rubber meets the road, they want services and products for free, which means someone is working for no recompense (look up a few definitions of slavery if you don't understand what I mean).
Second, making these things work on a cross-platform basis is why programmers need to be paid so highly...their depression meds and their ulcer meds are that expensive. In spite of the storage needs, if this implementation were easy from a technical standpoint, I expect it would already have happened.
Finally, a thumb drive is so 90s. Have you tried Dropbox or one of those similar web-based services? I haven't been able to sync all my PBs directly to DB, but I can store the files there and download them on my other computer so I can sync there. It's really not a bad solution, costs Logos no money, and gives me what I want: PB access on multiple computers.
As they say about pro golf: if it was easy, everybody would do it.

As a point of reference for sizes in the cloud, I have 229 Personal Books. That takes up 275MB of source data (docx and jpg files for covers), and 536M for compiled resources - 811MB or so total.
