Favorites as a drop down menu

When I open L5, I have my favorites on the left side of the screen.  Would be nice if Favorites were at the top of the screen in a drop down menu, similar to the Documents, Guides and Tools menus.

This would give more space on the screen, but still allow for easy access to the favorites.

Currently, it is possible to get to Favorites under tools, but all that does is create a left side panel.  My suggestion is that there be a Favorite menu alongside the Documents, Guides and Tools menus that would not create a left side panel, but rather a drop down menu of the favorites.
