Logos 5 Will Not Come Up

Every time I double click my Logos5 desktop icon I received the message: 'Do you want the following program to make changes?'  I always respond 'Yes'. 

Then I get the Logos logo on my screen followed by the system message 'An update is ready to be installed.  Do you want to install the update (recommended)?  If I respond 'No' the application begins and then loads.  If I reply 'Yes' then it pauses and then the Logos logo goes away and I have to start all over again but the next time I reply 'No' and the application loads.

As of 15 minutes ago, nothing works the 1st message appears and then the 2nd and then the application goes away regardless of whether I respond 'Yes' or 'No' to the 2nd question.

I don't understand the logic when it works and I definitely do not understand what's the problem now.  Please help.

It sounds like Logos has been configured to always "Run as administrator". This is definitely not the recommended configuration, and is probably causing the other problems you're observing.

Fixing this can often involve resetting file and folder security in Windows. This can be complex (see http://wiki.logos.com/Fixing_Logos_4_folder_Ownership), so I would recommend calling our Customer Support line during business hours tomorrow. They will be able to connect to your computer to resolve the problem.
