Logos 4 crashing at Notes

I am using Logos Bible Software 4.6c SR-3 (4.63.0.0365). When I click on "Notes" under the "File" menu the Logos system crashes. This has happened many times and Notes has not opened since the Logos 4 upgrade was completed. Attached are the Logos Log Files in compressed format. Can you tell me how to fix this problem?

Hi Norlyn - and welcome to the forums.

The logs you have posted are similar to those posted - for a similar problem - in an earlier version of Logos 4.

There are some recommendations partway through the thread (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/39636/297761.aspx#297761) for some possible steps to address this - which did resolve the issue in the original case. It's certainly worth trying to see if those recommendations help in your case.

Graham, thanks for the prompt reply. Went to Program Settings and there is no Default Notes Font Size category. There is a Default Notes Font category which I changed from Default to Calibri. Then tried Notes again & Logos immediately crashed. After reopening Logos, looked in Program Settings, found Default Notes Font was set for Calibri then went to File and clicked on Notes and Logos crashed again. What else can I do?

What else can I do?

Three suggestions I can think of:

Someone from Logos might see this who is better able to determine what is going on
Contact Logos customer services - contact details at https://www.logos.com/contact
Upgrade to Logos 5 (you are running Windows 7 so this should work fine) which includes many bug fixes (although I don't know specifically about this one). The free upgrade engine is available at https://www.logos.com/installation

Personally I would go with the third option and go from there.
