Window size and location.

There are just a few times that I want my logos 4 to not take up the entire screen of my laptop. I click on the Box in Box in the top right corner of the program and it shrinks the program just like I would like.

Now my questions are:

I want to make this L4 box smaller. Everytime I click on the corner with the window sizing arrows and drag....nothing happens.

I want to move this L4 box on the screen to the center. If I click on the title bar it just maximizes the window. I have even gone to the right click and "move" but that seems to be no help at all. With other "programs" I can resize the window np but that move the window is not working.

William, it sounds like you're getting the behavior you should get if you double-clicked on the corner or the title bar. I can't reproduce your problem if I just single click, but if I double click that's exactly what happens for me: double click on the title bar is supposed to maximize, and I suppose double-clicking on the corner doesn't do anything in particular, but it doesn't allow you to resize.

Make sure you're only single clicking and that you don't have your Window double-click speed set too low or too high. Are you using a mouse or a touchpad? If the latter, might you be accidentally touching it twice and causing a double-click. Do you have any accessibility software settings enabled or special software running that might grab mouse input and do something different with it? (I think some accessibility options make a single-click do what a double-click should when you're in some special mode, because handicapped people have a hard time doing double-clicks.) That's all I can think of that might be interfering.

I've found it best to right click on the tab and tell it to "open in floating window". You can move and resize that window as you wishl.

I think he's talking about not just an individual tab but the whole main Logos program window, which he might want to make smaller for the time being if he's also got another program running alongside it that he needs to use simultaneously. True, you can open all your tabs in a floating window or windows, but then you wouldn't have access to the Logos menus, the command bar, and your shortcut bar.
