Maybe a Column setting is doing it - mine is set to Columns none, and here is what it looks like (note I can't really read yours, it does not have sufficient detail to read clearly when I click on it to expand it):

I'm afraid there simply isn't enough clarity in your screenshot for me to see what your problem is. What IS the spacing issue?
Too many spaces between date and text?
A couple of things to check:
- Column setting as Don suggested.
- What are your text/program scaling zoom settings under Tools>>Program Setting?

Mine also has the large space between the date and text, but it is fine for me. When there is more text the lines fill in closer to the date.

Program Scaling is 100% and Column setting is "None"
When I copy and paste, the spacing is normal. I just found it odd that this is happening.

Try resetting your default resource text size back to 100% from its current 120% just to see if that fixes it.
Note that it did nothing for me when I changed it in thoughts for the quiet hour. I just can't explain your odd spacing.
