With copy/paste verse locations not included in citation

Just installed update 5.1a SR-1, using Windows 8.

When I copy and paste verses from Logos to another program, like Word, the footnote that it adds no longer includes the verse location/citation, only copyright and book information (i.e. New Living Translation, or New International Version).

I have tried changing citation styles and it still doesn't include the actual verse locations. Is there anything I can do to get this back? I copy and paste verses like this almost daily and it was working until this newest update.

I have the same problem having installed update 5.1a SR-1, using Windows 7 64-bit.

Uninstalling the update might cure this but it is less than ideal.

This is an old thread, Mike, so I'm not sure whether the problem still exists as Kevin reported it. Are you having problems? I'm surprised there has been no response from Logos in all these months.

It works fine for me with most citation styles: APA, BibTex, Chicago Manual of Style, SBL, and Turabian. But I don't get a verse reference with Harvard or MLA. Maybe Harvard and MLA styles don't call for the verse reference to be included, so it might not be an error but by design. According to this discussion of MLA style for quoting the Bible, you're supposed to include the verse reference in the text, but in the Works Cited section you give just the publication information. So this hybrid way of doing it in the footnote seems to be messed up regardless. I don't know the Harvard style guide at all.

Thanks Rosie. My settings were for MLA. I never would have thought to try a different style. Switching that did the trick. Thank you!
