PBB: Restarting Numbering in a List After a Chapter

I have a PBB that is an outline of notes. I am using numbering in Word in a standard outline format (e.g. I, A, 1, a), 1), etc). I am successful in completing a chapter using this numbering. However, when I go to the next chapter, I'm unable to get the numbering to restart correctly in the PBB. When I select "restart numbering" in Word, everything looks correct in the Word document; however, when I create the PBB, it removes all of the numbering in the whole document. For some reason, PBB doesn't like the fact that I restart number.

Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have a workaround or a solution? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I have attached two .docx files. The first one, New Testament Introduction-Notes, works correctly. The second one, New Testament Introduction-Notes7, stopped working correctly once I added a new chapter and restarted the numbering. If it is compiled as a PBB, all of the numbers disappears.

Interesting. I had the same trouble as you with the two files. I tried adding a "section break" to see if that would fix things... it didn't. I'll create a bug thread in the beta forum with a link to this thread.

EDIT: I just realized I am on the current release build.

Seems to me that PBB has a serious problem recognizing outline numbering in MS Word, at least from Word for Mac.
