Logos has stopped working

Message appears:

Logos Bible software 5 has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."6661.Logos Log Files.zip

I attached the zip files of my logos logs. Please help get this running again.

    David - Welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having troubles. [:S]

    You haven't given us much to go on, but you did give the logs. Good job for that. [:)] THIS thread might be helpful to you for future reference. 

    I am only a quasi techie... I could not find any thing in the logs that I understood. I do have some thoughts though...

    1. Have you tried loading to a blank layout? Press and hold the control key immediately upon startup. The issue may be related to a corrupted layout.
    2. Is the issue repeatable? Does it happen all the time? When you do something in particular? Randomly?
    3. Out of curiosity... Did you grab the logs after the crash, but before you reopened Logos?

    This looks to be caused by a corrupt index. You can fix the problem by entering "rebuild library index" into the command bar at the top of the main Logos 5 window.

    Alternatively, if you can't even start Logos, you can delete the following folder: C:\Users\dcapistrant\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\3oagantw.qsa\LibraryIndex

    (Both methods will force reindexing.)

    Thanks for the response. I am on a windows laptop and Logos has been working fine for months now. The message that appears right away. Every time I try it this happens. It started last night. When I open Logos it starts and I can somewhat see my saved layout but it fades and that message I mentioned above appears. Also the Logos icon on the task bar is not showing right. It is a white piece of paper with a 90s looking file on it. 

    I have tried the Ctrl button and lodging on again but it seems to have the same issue. My ipad version still works but it lacks what the PC can do.

    Ok I am back up and running! Thanks for the help! I held control down and selected open with a blank layout and it started and then I took Bradley's advice and deleted the index.
