missing clippings file in right-click menu

I was trying to practice the techniques in Mark Barnes recent video on sermon prep and ran into a confusing situation. I had created 2 clippings files : 'divorce' and 'bethrothal'. In a Bible dictionary, I had selected some text and invoked the right-click menu. Only one of the clippings files was available. see below for screen shots.

Ken,
In the right click menu, only one clippings and note file are shown - the most recently opened. So, if you want to add a clipping to a specific clipping file, you need to first open that clipping file, then do the right click.
Several of us (http://community.logos.com/forums/p/4391/34397.aspx#34397) have asked for this to be changed, so (for example) we have a pulldown menu of potential files or some other way to navigate around. I'm not aware of a definite response from Logos, but others may have heard. I've been really busy lately and have fallen behind in watching the forums. [:(]

Can someone tell me the difference between a note and clippings file?

A clippings file is a way to preserve and organize quotes from a resource document; notes files are to annotate a resource document.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Gary,
In addition to the above answer you might want to look at a comparison of the data gathering tools:

Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I'm dissapointed that this was not done in L5. Would really like to see it added.
